Cailin is a New York State licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT) and a nationally registered, board certified art therapist (ATR-BC), offering individual and family therapy.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in studio art with a minor in psychology at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy at Nazareth College.

She began her career in Rochester, working as a Behavior Therapist for individuals with Autism and later moved to Buffalo, where she worked at Gateway-Longview as a mental health clinician for 5 years. She provided individual counseling to children and adolescents, ages 3-21. She also worked with adults and families to support their needs through family therapy. Cailin additionally co-led Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for adolescents and models the Solution Focused Trauma Informed Care approach in therapy.

Cailin is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she combines in her person-centered practice. Cailin attends annual trainings that typically include trauma, attachment, and art therapy.
